Rich Leffler’s “Mortgage 101 Boot Camp” course was an excellent, thorough introduction to the mortgage side of things. He teaches with a passionate intensity that makes everyone take notice. Rich is a walking encyclopedia of regulations, best practices and a sales pioneer in the field who used solid techniques to keep his customers happy. His boot camp book is very thick but easy to follow, and comes with many examples and problems to solve so that you can learn to calculate payments and explain loan terms to your client. I would recommend his course wholeheartedly to any financial institution wishing to train new employees, employees new to the mortgage business, or even as a solid refresher course that can help inspire participants toward greatness.

I took the (NMLS) exam on Wednesday and passed with an 82% on my first try. I signed up for … (NMLS Exam Prep Tutoring) a few months ago. I was told by many people that this was an extremely difficult exam with a high fail rate. I needed to make sure I went with the best and I sure did. I signed up with a few tutoring sessions with Rich and ended up with about 10 or 11 total. I would take the practice tests and eventually got to a point where I was understanding the questions and wasn’t getting tricked by the way they asked them. … I took (several of his practice exams) several times (along with) … a math test.
